desalination pellet
A chalky white pellet with the letters "HH" inscribed in tiny script.
Can be applied to containers of 
slime, salty or brackish 
water, or really any liquid contaminated with 
salt, removing the drams of salt from the liquid or converting the slime to an equal amount of 
gel. Will also work if dropped into a pool of liquid, although a single pellet won't remove more than 200 drams of salt this way.
ichor merchants always have several desalination pellets for sale; they also rarely appear in generalist merchants' inventories.
