frosted pillar
A chrome pillar incrusted with a sheet of frost.
The frosted pillar is a structural object that is part of cryochambers, such as the cryochambers found in the Bethesda Susa cryobarrios.
Frosted pillars pump cryogenic mist into their associated cryochamber. Specifically, whenever the interior cryochamber cell next to them is empty, they add a 20 density burst of cryogenic mist, triggering once every eight turns. Each frosted pillar is oriented in a specific diagonal direction and will only pump gas into the cell in that direction.[1]
