If you inject someone else, they'll fall in love with you and follow you around for 3000-3600 rounds. There's a 4% failure rate for every level higher they are than you.
A love injector is a Tonic which, when applied, causes the player to fall in love with the first thing they look at.
If applied to a creature (which can be done by equipping a love injector in the player’s primary hand and attacking the creature, firing a love injector at the creature from a 
booster gun or 
dart gun, or throwing a love injector at the creature), that creature will fall in love with the player.
Notably, love injectors have an identical effect on Mutants and True Kin, unlike most tonics.

Injecting hostile legendary creatures with a love injector and performing a Water Ritual with them is one strategy to increase faction reputation when the player has less than -250 reputation with that faction and cannot water ritual with them normally.
