merchant's token
A silver shekel stamped with the profile of King Haberdash.
A merchant's token is an item that identifies its owner as a merchant, allowing them to enter certain settlements for the purpose of trade. The Water Merchant begins the game with a merchant's token in their inventory.
Currently, this item only allows basic access to 
Grit Gate, where the player may trade with 
Mafeo.
