dreadroot
Its swollen tubers hum.
A plant that can induce fear in nearby creatures.
According to Agate Severance Star, dreadroot is actually the same plant as the lahbloom, although its "petals" have been stripped off by the Baboons and Snapjaws which live in the Canyons.
A detailed description on the life cycle of dreadroot can be found in Blood and Fear: On the Life Cycle of Lah.
