Rolling scales tessellate their monstrous, slouching form, and motes of condensate stipple their swollen chin. Their tail is stretched and cracked with advanced age.
elder breathbeards are the base creature that elder ____beard creatures are based off of. In XML, only the elder breathbeard object is used, and its type of breath, color, and name are all decided in cs script. Similar to how stat saps are spawned, the type of breath is seeded based on zone ID, meaning that in the same zone, the same type of elder breathbeard will spawn.[1]
Types of Beards
Because of this creation method, the corpses are dynamically generated as well and have no static object blueprint. Each type has a 25% chance of dropping their respective corpse.[2]
Name | Type of Breath | Corpse |
---|---|---|
elder nullbeard | Normality Breath | Elder nullbeard corpse (butchers into elder nullbeard gland) |
elder tartbeard | Acid Breath | Elder tartbeard corpse (butchers into elder tartbeard gland) |
elder dreambeard | Sleep Breath | Elder dreambeard corpse (butchers into elder dreambeard gland) |
elder stillbeard | Stun Breath | Elder stillbeard corpse (butchers into elder stillbeard gland) |
elder mazebeard | Confusion Breath | Elder mazebeard corpse (butchers into elder mazebeard gland) |
elder gallbeard | Poison Breath | Elder gallbeard corpse (butchers into elder gallbeard gland) |
elder flamebeard | Flame Breath | Elder flamebeard corpse (butchers into elder flamebeard gland) |
elder sleetbeard | Ice Breath | Elder sleetbeard corpse (butchers into elder sleetbeard gland) |
A bug in this game is that all elder breathbeards are unable to have unique names due to this unique creation method.
