The thirst thistle has a maximum radius of 8 and will not fire at anything outside of that range. When the player or a creature hostile to the thistle enters this radius, the thistle will shoot projectiles from it's thistle pitcher, which have a 100% chance to reduce the target's thirst level by 60,000 so long as they hit. This is enough to instantly Dehydrate! the player. The attack does not need to penetrate to cause this effect.
