Gemstones are a type of trade good that trade for the same amount regardless of who is buying them and regardless of the buyer's ego score. They are collectively the most valuable trade goods. Each type of gemstone has a rough and a smooth variant. The smooth variant of the gemstone is always worth 20% more than the rough variant.
