life loop
A different glyph for 'life' is etched into each shining chrome segment of the wristband.
On death, a creature wearing a life loop will teleport into Barathrum's Study with full HP instead of dying. Any permanent injuries (such as dismemberment and decapitation) will remain on the creature. The limb that this loop is on cannot be dismembered. After teleportation, this item is destroyed.
The loop is not meant to be used by the player character, but to be a fail safe to prevent several plot relevant characters from dying permanently and thus preventing the main quest from being completed.
