Injecting hostile legendary creatures with a love injector and performing a Water Ritual with them is one strategy to increase faction reputation when the player has less than -250 reputation with that faction and cannot water ritual with them normally.

One love injector each is required for the Love Thyself and Love at First Sign Achievements.
