chain gauntlets
A pair of gloves, made of chain-mail.
Chain gauntlets are a middle-tier hand armor which grants no special effects when worn, outside of their AV and DV score.
Despite being called "gauntlets", chain gauntlets do not qualify for gauntlet-specific mods - namely, the spiked mod.
Obtaining
- Often, they are worn by goatfolk, who are commonly found in the jungle.
- Sometimes, glovers will stock chain gauntlets.
Tips
This section is opinion-based. Your mileage may vary.
- chain gauntlets, despite having identical AV and DV scores, are slightly lighter than steel gauntlets, making them generally the superior choice.
