Ring-molds on the laminated metal frame collect ambient sensory data and use it to augment the viewing frustum.

Grants night vision.
You can see through the first two occluding objects in your line of sight.

A high-tier alternative to night-vision goggles, night-sight interpolators provide full-color vision at any distance and allow the player to see a distance of two tiles beyond any occluding object.

They are one of the few face-slot objects which provide armor; another example is polyhedral rings.
