A breathbeard is one of several varieties of gas-breathing reptiles. Each variety has its own breath weapon mutation and coloration, and yields a different type of gland (a cooking ingredient) when butchered. All lesser breathbeards (that is, non-elder breathbeards) have level 5 of their respective mutation.
All breathbeards that spawn in the same zone will be of the same variety.[1]
