A heavy metal sphere, which hums quietly.
A droid scrambler is an artifact that pacifies 
waydroids. (See that article for details.)
One can be obtained by completing Weirdwire Conduit.. Eureka! and receiving it from 
Argyve. If the player has started in an alternative village, one will be located on the human corpse in the remains of 
Joppa. A data disk with the schematics for droid scramblers will occasionally be sold by various schematics drafters.
