iron buckler
A small iron shield meant to be strapped to the arm, leaving the hands free.
Shields only grant their AV when you successfully block an attack.
An iron buckler is a tier-1 shield that can be worn on the arm or held in hand, granting a base 25% chance to block attacks in melee. It has a significant penalty to DV compared to the superior steel buckler. Like other metal items, it is susceptible to rust and being pulled away by pulsed field magnets.
