Perfect

The oddly-hued glowpad is a hidden merchant that is located in the center zone of a random salt marsh parasang. The entire parasang where this glowpad is contained will be covered in dense brinestalk, making them difficult to spot. A parasang is "dense" when multiple brinestalk plants spawn in the salty water lakes instead of around it. The exact coordinates within the zone are randomized.[1]After ending a conversation with them for the first time, the player's character will note the location of the oddly-hued glowpad in their journal, along with a steam achievement.

The oddly-hued glowpad is also water ritualable, but will only tell the location of themself as a secret. As a member of the Consortium of Phyta, it is possible to buy the oddly-hued glowpad's most valuable possession with reputation.

From XRL.World.Encounters.EncounterObjectBuilders.GlowpadOasisWares.cs

If the player encounters the oddly-hued glowpad early enough before they have had a chance to identify any recoilers, both recoilers will be labeled as small stone. Despite this, the player can still determine which is the Grit Gate recoiler (35 commerce) because it is slightly more expensive than Joppa recoiler (25 commerce).

The Joppa recoiler will still be in stock if the player has chosen an alternate start.

Restocking

The oddly-hued glowpad also has a restock frequency of 14 days instead of the standard generic trader's 5 days. It uses the regular Restocker part, so a restock will always happen after 16,800 game ticks (14 days).
