The stamped data disk is one of several early-game disk quest items that can be used to make contact with the Barathrumites and start the main story quest, More Than a Willing Spirit. It is obtained by completing one of the two randomly generated Village Quests in a non-Joppa village start.

Argyve's Data Disk

Argyve's copy of the stamped data disk is obtained from Argyve after completing the Weirdwire Conduit.. Eureka! quest. Visually and functionally, it is the same as a normal stamped data disk, but there will be different dialogue when using it to accept More Than a Willing Spirit.
