steel shield
A large shield, meant to be secured to your hand.
Shields only grant their AV when you successfully block an attack.
A steel shield is a tier-2 shield. When held in hand, it grants a 25% chance to block attacks in melee combat. Like other metal items, it is susceptible to rust and being pulled away by 
pulsed field magnets.
