Limbs like fur-dressed spindles spring their slender frame across the brachiated world. One eye breaks the plane of their furless face. A lack of depth perception would inhibit their throwing efficacy were they not able to triangulate their viewing plane with their duplicates.

Perfect

A cyclopean gibbon is a creature belonging to the apes faction. Cyclopean gibbon can be found in the banana groves.[1]

Cyclopean gibbons begin neutral to the player, but will become hostile if provoked. They will attack at a short range by throwing large stones, which they will always spawn with 5 of. If a gibbon runs out of stones or their target comes within melee range, they will instead attack with their \vicious bite, a natural short blade weapon that deals ♥3d23-6 (Avg: 4.5) damage.[2]

Cyclopean gibbons possess Teleportation at mutation level 1 and Temporal Fugue at mutation level 13.[2] A gibbon will use Teleportation in an attempt to close the distance to their target if they become too distant from one another, and the gibbon will use Temporal Fugue when within melee range to produce 7 temporary copies of themselves. These copies will possess the same number of small stones as the original, if they happen to have any left.

Trivia

  • Despite being a member of the apes faction, cyclopean gibbons are much more similar in behavior to creatures of the baboons faction, as both throw stones and attack with a bite.
