Spoiler Warning: This article contains spoilers regarding Tomb of the Eaters. Proceed at your own discretion.

The Mark of Death is a mark that is tattooed onto someone's body in preparation for burial in the Tomb of the Eaters. This mark is a string of characters that is randomized per playthrough. Finding this mark is an optional step for the quest Tomb of the Eaters (quest).

The player can gain the effects of the mark once this specific string is tattooed on any of their body parts using a tattoo gun. It is successful if the tattoo message says "You tattoo the Mark of Death on your (body part)" instead of the random characters.

If the player character recomes, they will lose all tattoos on them including the mark.

Finding the Mark

The mark was lost to most people after k-Goninon consumed it, according to Agyra. However, the mark can always be found on the grave of Rebekah located in Ezra. Much later on, Herododicus will also tell the player when asked.
