The {{name}} is a [[Cudgel]] with the ability to frighten creatures in a similar manner to the [[Intimidate]] skill when equipped by a [[Goatfolk]]. As a weapon, it is slightly stronger, but heavier than one-handed steel cudgels.

When wielded by a goatfolk, or more specifically any creature with the <code>Cervine</code> tag, the creature has a 16% chance every turn to blow the grandfather horn so long as there is a hostile target within 10 tiles of them. Doing so attempts to inflict [[fear]] on every creature within a circular 10 tile radius for {{dice tooltip|2d4+1}} rounds. Any creature possessing the <code>Cervine</code> tag is immune to this effect.

    The grandfather horn is a Cudgel weapon with a unique effect when wielded by goatfolk.

    When wielded by a goatfolk, or more specifically any creature with the Cervine tag, the creature has a 16% chance every turn to blow the grandfather horn so long as there is a hostile target within 10 tiles of them. Doing so attempts to inflict fear on every creature within a circular 10 tile radius for 2d4+13-9 (Avg: 6) rounds. Any creature possessing the Cervine tag is immune to this effect.

    After blowing the horn, the creature cannot do so again for at least 100-200 rounds.[1]
