The addling urchin is an urchin that can be found in caves tier 5 and above or produced by an urchin belcher.[1]
An addling urchin will produce confusion gas in all adjacent tiles when a hostile creature gets within melee range. It can repeat this ability after waiting 40 turns, as well as immediately before its death.[2] Similar to
drowsing urchins, an addling urchin is completely immune to confusion gas, regardless of source.[3]
