Trivia

Caution: This article or section contains unverified speculation and should not be considered canonical. |
Une possesses two items usually only carried by Putus Templars, an ontological anchor and the
burnished fullerite shield, a unique variant of the
fullerite aegis which has had its Templar symbology removed. This, combined with fact that the Templars are guaranteed to hate them for "kinslaying and treason", and their hostile reaction towards anyone who presses them on the origin of their shield, makes it clear that Warden Une was once a Templar themself.
Given their flawless crysteel long sword, it is most likely that they were specifically a
Knight Commander of the Holy Temple, as that is the only type that the player can find that possesses both a shield and crysteel weaponry. However, it is possible that they belonged to a different rank and merely stole one or more pieces of equipment.
The details surrounding their departure from the Templars, and their reason for doing so, are unknown as of patch 2.0.206.43. It is almost certain that their killing of another Templar is a related factor, but whether it was the inciting incident or happened after they chose to leave is unknown.
