adiyy

Spindle glitter rained from heaven and sowed the holoptic valley of the adiyy's eye. It sprouted gluttonous molecules that sucked the hue from the bug's head, chest, and wings. It unrendered the adiyy, and left it to flit from leaf to leaf, half-blind and dirgeful.

Perfect

The adiyy is an insect residing within the banana grove outside of Omonporch. Their \achromous bite will inflict victims with monochromed for 50-100 turns if it penetrates, and blurry vision if it penetrates again in another attack before monochromed wears off. Given enough time, this blurry vision will progress to monochrome.

Tips

The adiyy has no ranged attack, and requires the attack to penetrate in order to infect any creature with monochrome. This means that attacking only with ranged attacks, having high AV, or high DV are all viable ways to avoid infection. They will be constantly flying, so ranged attacks are usually the only way to hit an adiyy.

Their high level also means that once the proper precautions are taken, killing adiyys along with red death daccas and irritable palms are decent sources of late game exp.
