An electric snail shell is a piece of head armor which, in addition to its 
AV bonus and 
DV penalty, grants +200 reputation with the mollusks faction. Additionally, it gives a -1 to-hit penalty.
Obtaining
snail farmers will always sell 1-2 electric snail shells- An electric snail shell can be butchered from an
electric snail corpse.
