Perfect

The glowmoth is a low level creature in the insects faction. They are most commonly found in ruins but they can also be found randomly underground. They are capable of flight using their level 1 Wings and attack at range with an accurate )gaze.

Tips

This section is opinion-based. Your mileage may vary.
  • They are the easiest to deal with underground, since this prevents them from flying and thus invulnerable to physical attacks.
  • Their gaze has a PV of 8, making it one of the weapons with the highest PV in the early game. This in combination with some builds lacking a ranged damage option early on can cause many deaths. There are several methods of mitigating this gaze:
    • Breaking line of sight with the moth, forcing them to stop shooting and move closer to you.
    • Have decent AV. Having an AV of 6 or higher will limit more than one penetration to about 17%, making the damage much more managable.
