tongue tyrant

Scum-slick rubber trunk-rings wobble under a bouquet of wiggling, titan tongues. Map-like patterns decorate the spotty red and swollen organs, and a shower of saliva wets the encircling earth.

Perfect

Tongue tyrants can be found across Lake Hinnom. They can use their Sticky Tongue mutation to pull creatures they are hostile to towards them.[1]

Tongue tyrants will attempt to engulf an adjacent target. The creature has an opportunity to make a Strength save against being engulfed.[2]

Creatures engulfed by a tongue tyrant will be pulled onto and will inhabit the same tile as the tyrant, and will be unable to move; attempting to move in any direction will instead cause the creature to perform a melee attack against the tyrant. Additionally, the creature will be unable to perform certain physical actions, such as Charge, Jump, and Juke.[3] Engulfed creatures cannot be attacked by other creatures, and any attempting to do so will instead target the tongue tyrant.

Engulfed creatures will suffer from bleeding for as long as they are being engulfed by a tongue tyrant, suffering ♥4-5 damage every round.[1][4] The tongue tyrant will otherwise be unable to attack the creature they are engulfing.

A tongue tyrant will continue to engulf its victim until either it or the victim dies. However, the victim can escape being engulfed prematurely through means such as Teleportation or becoming out-of-phase.
