The sheyd is a unique creature. One can be found at The Great Siach, accessible through the Northern Ark stop in North Sheva. Aside from this spot, none can be found in the world. As a docile grazing hedonist. In addition, it has the calm attribute, so it is guaranteed to be initially passive towards the player.
It has a significant 300 HP, and its claws are serrated short blades with a 10% chance to dismember that deal not only their base of 1d6 damage, but an additional 2d6 elemental damage split between the Umbral, Dream, Vorpal, and Laser damage types.
Shedim can be pet, which will result in the message "The sheyd chirrs."
Shedim are, along with Crowsong, the only creatures to possess the
Metamorphosis mutation.
Lore
Multiple item descriptions reference shedim. The descriptions of the Sultan Masks state that they were "dyed with the milked irises of shedim", aside from the Null Face, which states that by the time of its creation, "the shedim had no eyes left to color the dim and final Face." The valuable
jeweled sandals are made of sheyd leather.
