He is a wind-carved man with the posture of a vinereaper; his spine is bent to point the bright turquoise of his eyes at the tilling angle, his hips are pushed odd-forward with the slumping ease of a stance much more relaxed than his. If it weren't for the salt on his brow and the scarred knuckles, he would seem a marble Saad perched under a crumbling tomb.
Mehmet is an NPC found in Joppa. He gives the What's Eating the Watervine? quest, although it must be turned in with Elder Irudad.[1][2] Clones of Mehmet can be rarely found in cryotubes; these can give the Watervine quest even if Joppa does not exist, though it cannot be turned in without Irudad.

Speculation
Caution: This article or section contains unverified speculation and should not be considered canonical. |
Mehmet shares his name with a former king of Qud, Mehmet I, depicted in the chrome bust of Mehmet I and described in Frivolous Lives, Vol. I. His description and the clones suggest that he himself might be a clone of that king.
