Light flecks break themselves on the silver moat and rush back to their place of origin. The signifier becomes the signified; the simulacrum is realized.

+100 reputation with mysterious strangers
+1 Ego
Offers protection against visual flash effects.

Perfect

Wearing a pair of mirrorshades grants +1 Ego and provides protection against visual flash effects.

Mirrorshades, along with spectacles, are the only two items that grant corrected vision, which corrects the short-distance vision caused by Myopia. They are both very fragile, however, and have a 1% chance every hit to become broken.[1] Modding the mirrorshades to be sturdy prevents this.

In addition, mirrorshades have a hidden 1% chance to refract light-based attacks with -60 to +60 degree variance.[2][3]
