O Glorious Shekhinah!

O Glorious Shekhinah! is an optional quest that is always available in the player's starting village. You can receive it by talking to the Mechanimist convert in the village. They will tell you about the Six Day Stilt as well as the Mechanimist cathedral there, and ask you to make a pilgrimage and cast their bauble into the sacred well in the cathedral. If you accept, they will give you their bauble, which is generally some kind of common trinket.

• Journey to the far Northwest, through the Great Salt Desert, and visit the Mechanimist cathedral and merchant bazaar.

On the recommendation of a proselyte, you visited the merchant bazaar and grand cathedral at the Six Day Stilt.

Tips

This section is opinion-based. Your mileage may vary.

• It is possible to complete O Glorious Shekhinah! as your first quest, and doing so will reward you a significant amount of XP at a low level. However, doing so carries some risk of getting lost on the trip there, which could be dangerous depending on what you encounter. You will also want enough water to make the trip.
• Although the Mechanimist convert asks you to cast their bauble into the well, doing so is not a requirement of the quest, and the quest is completed on arrival at the Six Day Stilt.
• If you complete O Glorious Shekhinah and speak again to the Mechanimist convert that gave you the quest, they will acknowledge your completion of the quest with unique dialogue.
