Advantages & Disadvantages

Advantages

• Can make navigating certain locations with guaranteed up/down transitions such as the Rust Wells or Bethesda Susa much faster.
• Can assist in quickly finding staircases up when lost undeground without a recoiler.

Disadvantages

• Very difficult to find outside of character creation
• Can be replaced by the more functional optical multiscanner

Tips

• Revealed staircases are considered an explored tile for the purposes of high-fidelity matter recompositer allowing the user to instantly teleport to any staircase present in a zone.
