force modulator is a low-cost cybernetic which can be installed into any slot. It allows the user to walk through or stand in forcefields, force barriers, and stasis fields. The latter will also not immobilize the implantee if generated on top of or moved through. The cybernetic has the additional benefit of preventing the user from being involuntarily moved by the sudden generation of forcefields, such as from the Force Bubble Mutation.

Advantages

  • Only costs one license point and can be installed into any available cybernetic slot, allowing for a high degree of flexibility.
  • Allows easy early access to Grit Gate by simply walking through the frontal force barrier.
  • Useful against creatures capable of possessing the Force Wall mutation such as Mechanimist preachers and svardym elds
  • Prevents the user from being incapacitated by stasis fields, however, while the user is able to move freely through the field, they do not receive the usual damage immunity, creatures in melee range and with ranged attacks are capable of damaging the user, provided they hit them directly. Any other stasis fields the user is not actively standing within, will retain its immunity to damage and ability to block projectiles.
