A giant dragonfly is a low-level flying insect. While in flight, they are immune to most physical attacks and can only be hit with ranged attacks.
They are commonly found in the

- While exceptionally weak and easily killed, there is little benefit to doing so, as they drop nothing but a
giant dragonfly corpse, which cannot be butchered, and give a very small amount of experience. - Due to being mainly grazing hedonists, they among
beetlebums will be the only neutral insects towards the player at the start.
- Legendary dragonflies can be water ritualled for +100 insect reputation. However, giving secrets to them will only boost grazing hedonist reputation.
