pentaceps is a lower cost feet-exclusive cybernetic which improves the range of the user's Charge by 4 tiles, allowing for charges of up to 7 tiles under normal circumstances. Unlike some other movement abilities such as Jump, charge requires a physical target in order to function, the target however is not limited to creatures, essential anything qualfies

Advantages & Disadvantages

Advantages

  • Strong source of early damage especially when paired with charging strike(favilink error!) or Shield Slam
  • Charge has a low cooldown,
  • Can be used

Disadvantages

  • Charge can sometimes place the user in a worse position than before, especially if they are limited to weak light sources such as torches or symbiotic fireflies.
  • The addtional damage becomes less impactful as a run progresses.
  • Mostly only provides utility in combat.
  • Using charge as a positioning tool can be clunky, espiscally when charging at

Tips

  • The Juke skill can be used to move away from nearby hostile creatures
  • Items can be dropped on the ground and selected as a charge target in order to move rapidly in one direction.
