This colossal mound of dimpled, gray flesh tapers at the head into a sloping, thrice-horned snout pocked with the scars of bestial rage.

Perfect

The rhinox is a high tier, aggressive creature with no visible base faction, meaning that it will be hostile to all player characters. They can be found deep underground.

One is guaranteed to be found in the cryobarrios of Bethesda Susa, frozen inside a cryochamber.

If one drops a corpse, they can be butchered into a rhinox-skull maul.

Wrecking Charge

Main article: Multiple Horns#Wrecking Charge

When a rhinox chooses a target to Wrecking Charge, they will spend one turn stomping. This will project a red line of their intended path, giving a chance for creatures to move out of the way. Afterwards, they will run forward for their charge distance, striking everything that still is within its path.

The initial charge strength is determined by the charging creature's strength. In this case, the initial charge strength is 54, with a charge distance of 18 tiles. This means:

  • The rhinox has an extra 2♦ AV (for a total of 10)
  • Walls with less than 34 AV will be destroyed in a charge
  • Only creatures with a strength greater than 54 can stop the charge
  • Other solid objects must weigh more than 2,401# to stop the charge
