Girsh Bethsaida is one of the Girsh Nephilim, who lives below Bethesda Susa. They are worshipped by the
gyre wights of Bethsaida.
Bethsaida's cradle can be found at around strata 30 below Bethesda Susa, by following the pits starting in the Temple of the Rock.
Effect
After losing over half of its health, Girsh Bethsaida will split into two. These Bethsaidas both will have a maximum HP of 4000, but will remain at however much health Girsh Bethsaida had before dividing into two (somewhere below 2000 HP). Only one of these Bethsaidas will drop the circle of light in the chord of Bethsaida on death.
This creature burns bright in the chord of Girsh Bethsaida
Killing Girsh Bethsaida or pacifying them via the water ritual will cause them to drop the circle of light in the chord of Bethsaida, which grants +15% hitpoints whilst equipped. Killing them will also give all remaining Girsh +50% hitpoints; this does not happen when pacifying them.
Trivia
- Prior to the 7th Plague update (game version 2.0.206.26), Bethsaida's worshippers were known as the
Glow-wight cultists of Bethsaida. Their description said that they "chant[ed] the hymn of the hoary demon Bethsaida".
