Take Tau's chime, silent and still. Carry it to the bottom of Taproot, deep under my trunk, where she will make the chime her transit-body and walk away forever. Finish the ritual of -elseing.

At the bottom of Taproot, Tau manifests. She tells us, too, that another waits for her there.

Dyvvrach asks the player to help Tau separate from Chavvah. Depending on the player's choices, there are a variety of potential outcomes.

• Return to the keter and speak with Dyvvrach.

Notes

There are four notable outcomes for Tau.

• If Tau is reunited with the still crystal chime with no other interference, Tau will join the Seekers of the Sightless Way, become Tau-No-Longer, and give the player the crystalline halo.
• If Aoyg-No-Longer is killed before reuniting Tau with her chime, Tau will become the pariah Wandering Tau, but will still give the player the crystalline halo.
• If Tau is killed after giving the player the halo, the halo will be transformed into the crystalline jile.
• If Tau is reunited with the still crystal chime and becomes Tau-No-Longer, and then Aoyg-No-Longer is killed, Tau will remain Tau-No-Longer, but will be blocked from progressing further along the Sightless Way. If she has not yet given the player the halo, she will not give it to the player, and it becomes impossible to obtain without wishes.
