vinewafer
A little nub of cork swells with moisture. It was watered over hot weeks by a splayed frond, vested with inhuman patience, who sucked one mote of rain from a hundred-mile wind.
vinewafer is an edible plant harvested from ripe 
watervine plants. A few pieces often can be found in the inventory of any "general" merchant. It can be eaten for a hydration of +500, compared to a dram of
