Solar power is a form of energy based on the absorption of sunlight. Generally speaking, solar energy must be stored, consumed, or converted into another form of energy immediately. For example, solar power stations convert sunlight into electrical power, solar pumping stations convert sunlight into hydraulic power, and solar cells convert sunlight into battery-stored electrical power.[1][2][3][4].
