Dancing and still lights alike perform an old and beautiful dance of anecdotes long drifted free of their contextual confines. The aetheric debris waxes and wanes, orbits and follows, summoning stories of timelost experience.

Perfect

A mote cloud is an enigmatic pet exclusive to Patreon backers. It is a light source with a radius of 4 tiles, similar to a torch, but occasionally brightens or dims by one tile. It is nullphase and thus cannot participate in combat, but it can gain XP.

While travelling with a mote cloud, it may "float off" towards unexplored parts of the current zone. Unlike other followers, tiles explored by a mote cloud are explored by, but not visible to, the player. Once all tiles in the zone are explored, it will return to following the player character.
