Euclid is a prattleplant, a type of vine that can store whatever it hears in its "neuroot network". Euclid can then mimic the sounds it's heard by flicking its leaves against one another. However, most of what it produces is "gibberish".
Barathrum refers to Euclid as his "dear friend", and says that Euclid is "old, perhaps older than [he is]"; if this is to be believed, Euclid may be at least 1,000 years old.

Euclid begins neutral to the player, but will become hostile if the player attacks it or any members of the Barathrumites in view of it.
