blood is the liquid that is shed from the bleeding wounds of non-fungus, non-plant, and non-robotic creatures.

Sources of Blood

  • Bleeding will cause a puddle of blood to form near the bleeding creature.
  • A critical hit from any weapon will cause a blood splatter from the target.
  • Short blades are particularly adept at creating pools of blood, because they also cause the bleeding effect when they make a critical hit, and can cause bleeding from regular hits if the attacker has the Bloodletter skill.
  • Dismemberment, with axes or other methods, will quickly accumulate pools of blood.
  • Walking through fractus will cause a creature to drop blood.
  • The alchemist is guaranteed to have one dram of blood for sale.
