Slime is common liquid that is mostly used for its curative properties when mixed with other liquids to create a cure for various illnesses.
Stepping on a tile with less than 1,000 drams of slime forces the creature to make an agility saving throw with difficulty . If this fails, the creature will slip.
Sources of Slime
- The
Slime Glands mutation allows the player to spit slime at will.
giant amoebas explode into slime on death.

- Slimy biomes have an abundance of slime across the zone that they occupy and some creatures in them will also spit slime
slime weeps and
giant slime weeps, which can be found in fungal biomes, the
Rainbow Wood, historic sites, or occasionally in other locations. In a fungal biome, the
dandy caps and
spotted shagspooks around slime weeps will be dark green or brown in color.
- Sometimes, slime will be sold by
ichor merchants, one of which is guaranteed to spawn in the
Stiltgrounds.
- The
alchemist is guaranteed to have one dram of slime available for purchase.
Uses of Slime
- Desalinating slime using a
desalination pellet will make
gel.
- Can be a possible cure liquid for illnesses or fungal infections.
- Drinking slime will inflict the drinker with level 5 confused for 3d63-18 (Avg: 10.5) turns.
- Slugs from the mollusks faction requires slime to perform the water ritual with it's members.
Consuming Slime
Drinking slime returns the following message:
It's disgustingly slimy! |
Doing so will cause the imbiber to be confused for 3d6 turns, but does not influence hydration in any way.
