latched onto

Has been latched onto.
Can't move without breaking free first.

latched onto is an effect that can be applied by madpoles, crypt ferrets, maghammers, and leather whips. From all of these sources except crypt ferrets, the latched onto creature will take damage every end of turn from the weapon that is latched onto them. Every attempt to move while being latched onto requires a Strength save. If this fails, the creature is unable to move. When the latched-on creature attempts to move, this attempts to drag the latched onto creature with them, which is subject to a save. If this succeeds, the latched onto creature will break free.

If the latched onto creature jukes or teleports away, latched onto will immediately end.
