Motorized treads are a permanent cybernetic implant that replace the legs of the body they are installed on.
They grant an extremely large bonus to movement speed, and provide bonuses to saves against involuntary movement effects.
Their main drawback is that they remove the ability to use footwear equipment. The Feet slot is replaced with two Tread slots. tread guards can be worn in these slots for a small AV bonus.
Movement-Related Saves
Certain items grant a bonus or penalty to movement-related saves, including magnetized boots (+4),
rocket skates (-4),
motorized treads (+4), cleated footwear (+2-4), and stability-based cooking effects (+6).
