Your chance to block with a shield improves to 75%.

This skill increases the chance to block with a shield to 75%.

By default, an unskilled creature wielding a shield has a 25% chance to block. The Block skill raises that chance to 50%, and Deft Blocking further raises the chance to 75%.

Factions That Teach Deft Blocking

Deft Blocking is not taught by any of Qud's persistent factions. However, procedurally generated factions such as village factions can teach randomly chosen skills as part of their water ritual.
