Persuasion_Intimidate

Cooldown 50. You try to terrify adjacent, hostile creatures (1d8 + [Ego modifier] penetration roll vs. MA). On success, a frightened creature flees from you for 4d4 rounds.

Intimidate can terrify hostile creatures, potentially creating openings and breaking up groups of enemies. Even characters with moderate Ego can benefit, as many powerful creatures have poor mental armor relative to their level.

This skill can be learned through water ritual with Warden Indrix, Goatfolk Pariah.

Ability Cooldown

The base cooldown of Intimidate can be reduced by 10 rounds if the user is wearing an item with the terrifying visage mod.[1][2]

Factions That Teach Intimidate

Intimidate is not taught by any of Qud's persistent factions. However, procedurally generated factions such as village factions can teach randomly chosen skills as part of their water ritual.
