Cooldown 50. You shame a nearby creature for 6d6 rounds, giving it a -4 penalty to DV, to-hit, Ego, Willpower and a -10 penalty to quickness.

Berate is a Persuasion skill that can shame a target cell within a range of 8 cells for 6d66-36 (Avg: 21) rounds. If multiple creatures occupy this cell, all of them will be targeted.

There is no saving throw for this skill, so users with any ego will benefit the same amount from it.

Berate is considered a mental ability, so it does not affect plants, fungi, oozes, or robots.

Berate is not considered an attack, so it can be used on friendly creatures to soften them up for Proselytize, Beguiling, or Domination.
