Skill and Mutation Interactions
The range of jump can be increased with pneumatic pistons and Wings. Players or creatures with either of these will be able to jump over tiles occupied by creatures.

Trivia
Learning Jump from frogs or svardym is a Steam achievement. This used to be more difficult due to the rarity of frog lairs, but patch 204.83 added a wider range of frogs and an additional faction, svardym, that can trigger the achievement.
